Chicago Day Zero

3 vans left Wheaton Bible, 1 got lost and one got a flat tire.

Despite those hardships we have arrived safely to YWAM in Roger's Park, Chicago. We learned about all the diversity in Chicago, and specifically the diversity in Roger's Park. Of the 194 nations in the World, 150 are represented in our general area. Walking distance from where we are staying there are 73 different languages spoken... who woulda thunk it?!

As we write this our whole group is engaged in a very violent game of Spoons. New friendships and laughter fill the room with a feeling of joy comparable to that of a steaming cup of hot cocoa.

We look forward to the coming week and interacting with so many different people groups who have never heard the Good News of Christ.

We have a very busy week planned full of evangelism opportunities and we would love it you could pray for opportunities to share the Gospel and also for courage and energy.

Well, we gotta get in on this game of spoons, but we will keep you all posted!

God Bless,
Marbear and Mag Pie
