We are wrapping up our last day here on site in Clarkston (Atlanta) and I am overwhelmed by the magnitude of everything that God has shown us this past week. For all of you who supported our team financially, with prayer, I want you to know that God did great things in the lives of these students and leaders. We have experienced such profound highs and lows and God remained God through it all. I've been in youth ministry for about 14 years and have not ever seen God at work in the lives of students like I did this past week. To describe the love and joy that was shared between our students (your children) and the people here in Clarkston is beyond words. I can only think it would be similar to John describing what he saw in Revelation, trying to put the sheer glory into words he could understand. I want you all to be proud of the team that was down here as much as I am. We will all be sad to leave the families and for most of them, the team will miss the joy and laughter of the children. But we realize that our mission does not end when we leave camp, and I would pray that you would give each of them time to process and decompress all that they have been witness to. But do ask them to share what God laid on each of their hearts, as I know that each of them have something to share.
We thank you all for the love and continual support you have given us leading up to and through this week and ask that you would continue to pray as we head to Louisville tonight and back to WBC on Sunday. I would like to leave you with one quote from Wiliiam Wilberforce that has stood out to me that I cannot overlook:
"You may choose to look the other way but you can never say again that you did not know."
