Greetings Wheaties,
Today we went to India, or at least it really seemed like it! We spent the entire day in Little India doing prayer walks, handing out free water bottles, praying with people, playing with little chilluns at the park and visiting the old farts at the nursing home. Needless to say it was a packed day that stretched everyone on our team.
Satan has been at full attack on our site, especially physically. We've had a lot of sickness, but we are stronger than him and have been able to overcome what seemed like dire situations. Emotionally he has been at work too, but God has been in us so we have been able to fight off any attacks the devil has thrown our way. In a way it makes us feel stronger because Satan would not be attacking if we were not making an impact in this area.
Tonight was the encouragement web! A favorite project serve tradition for us veterans. It was very inspiring and uplifting to hear what everyone had to say to each other. An even deeper sense of group unity was felt after the activity. The girls floor was filled with chatter of encouragement and inspiration all night! And the guys were too... I guess.
Piece of advice from the Nursing home: GET A CAT!
